Candid portraits and street photography that concentrate on "seeing" the back story and emotional content of the moment.

Diptychs about cities and relationships specific to a location. Duos show two scenes to fill out understanding of what is there physically and culturally.

Examples of sites where construction and development are changing the face of neighborhoods and resulting in gentrification or restoration projects.

An interpretive study of changes on Union Street in Seattle in 2014 and 2015. This street runs West from Puget Sound to East Union and 36th where there are peekaboo views of Lake Union. Several neighborhoods can be found along with dramatic changes in each as they shift populations and gentrify.

This project was created for an exhibition in 2014 as a statement about the major shifts on the urban landscape in an older section of Seattle. The inclusion of my face in each image is a device to signify that these changes are not going unnoticed.

Gallery with images that speak to sites that have specific structures or changes that are ephemeral or final statements about how they appear.

Images that showcase the beauty of the urban and rural landscape as seen at a given moment in time.

A collection of prints and photographs made with alternative media, darkroom and digital. Also, multiple images... diptychs and more.

This project is an auto-biographic study of aging and discovery about family history.
